After months of dealing with AI "art" being posted to this site, I am done with it. I've been on DeviantArt for nearly 10 years. It's been slowly changing into something I don't like for a long time now, but this is the final straw. That, and NFTs.

I've heard arguments about AI "art" from both sides, and I don't care to argue with anyone about it. The technology is undoubtedly impressive. But it's being implemented in a way which is all about art theft, and in a neo-liberal capitalist society, it's going to be a death sentence to so many people (real artists) if left unchecked. AI art needs to be regulated.
